48 hour movie

PlayOFF is an international film competition at Odense International Film Festival, for everyone who wants to participate. The contest runs from Friday 23 August to Sunday 25 August 2013.

You do not need to be adept with a camera or super cool sound and light to enter. All you have to do is to create a movie in 3 minutes over 48 hours within a theme determined by OFF, published by PlayOFF's start. Furthermore, there will also be published an element as the movie should contain.

It's all all about making ultra-short shorts, under considerable time pressure - but with total freedom of form. Remember though that we are doing it for the game and the idea - so do not let yourself be intimidated.

PlayOFF theme is: Change / Shift

The secret element this year is a prop. Your film must be on one side or otherwise contain Stick / Stick

Remember the rules:

The film will have a duration of max. 3 minutes

If the theme or the other conditions are not met, the film can not be judged

The film will be completed and uploaded to YouTube.com by 25 August at. 12.00

The form is free, and the ball is given up for creative expression with the medium of film

There is no requirement for equipment. Anything goes - from mobile phone to professionally equipped

It was really fun to try, and our group just had a lot of fun with it!

 We got about two hours to make a movie, - come up with an idea, film it, and edit it, with the class under us.

 We had to make a cartoon, with a a lot of thumbnails in the begining

And then choose one of those thumbnails, and make it better

We got a task to make 5 scenes only using squars, circles, or triangles.
We had to take a mood, we wanted the picture to be in.

Then we had to take one of the scenes, and make a little "story" /4 thumbnails from that one scene we picked.

And we had to take one of those thumbnails and well, make it prettier...

We had to take one of Dore pritures, and put it into the colour wheel, choose the colours we want to work with, from the colour wheel, and well... remake the painting.
This is done in photoshop.
